You are absolutely right August scrapbooking is a great activity for adults and children. You can create some beautiful memory books. There are also several different crafts that you can make with scrapbook supplies. I have seen decorated lamps, personalized cards, decorated picture frames, decorated cork boards, and so much more. You are only limited by your imagination.
We did a project at my kids school where all the parents donated some type of scrapbook supply and we had the kids decorate their folders. They used these to present their papers and awards at open house. It was a lot of fun. All we used where some of the borders, ribbons, paper, and a little bit of glue. We took pictures of all of the kids and printed them out. Then they used decorative scissors and cut out different shapes and borders. It was amazing how creative the children where and how much fun they had. My daughter says that she is going to save hers. At the end of the year all the kids wrote something to each student and we hole punched the pages and added it to each persons folder. It made it really special for the students.
